Welcome to our website, here you can find important information about OM.
Opal Manes is a finnish elite dressage club on Apricot Harbor (Fi2). Opals were first made in 2020 by Svea Icerider under the name of Flower Castles, then Garden Hawks and now Opal Manes.
Our goal is to compete actively, make unique routines and inspire other clubs to join the dressage community. We want to get more finnish clubs to compete internationally.
Opal Manes has 5 divisions for riders of different levels, bronze, silver, gold, diamond and elite.
What do we offer?
Opal Manes offers the chance to compete in global competitions on a high level with people who have the same goals as you. We want our members to have a safe enviroment by making sure everyone is equal in OM.

Meet Opal Manes
Svea "Sven" Icerider
Owner, comp team instructor and manager
Sven has been the owner of Opal Manes since the first day in 2020. Before OM, Svea had been in a dressage club in 2019 and raced through the ranks to be an instructor. Later on she started her own finnish dressage server in discord to provide private lessons for people.
In February 2020, she decided to leave her old club to make her own.
Sven has been an insturctor in FIDA (finnish dressage association) before it was disbanded.
Svea loves instructing and making routines for Opal Manes. Her favorite things are basic moves that look difficult and Svea's motto is "The easier it is and the harder it looks, the better it is"
Outside of the game and the dressageworld, Sven enjoys doing anything that has something to do with gelnails, hair and makeup. Currently she is on the first year of cosmetology school.
Pearl "Pate" Purplebell
Competition team manager
Pearl is one of our Competition team managers and his tasks include planning routines and choreographing them with Svea. Pate has been a member since June 2022 and he has showed his creative side ever since he joined.
In dressage, he likes all kinds of moves that include a circle in them and Pate is always trying to sneak a circle into a routine.
In real life, he spends time dancing, practising theatre and taking care of animals. Pate's favorite animal is a goat!
He also has 2 cats and loves Taylor Switf (his goddess).
Josefine "Jose" Farhurricane
Event manager
Jose is one of our senior riders which means she has competed a whole competition season (2-5 competitions in a year). She has been in every possible rank in the club, but now she holds the position of our event manager. Jose is active, kind and has an amazing humor. She is motivated to practise even the hardest routines until they are completely done! Her favorite moves are things like comb and slants.
Jose had ridden in almost all of the competitions we have ever participated in lik: The Elf Embrace, Trainee Trials, The Eight Ball, Bee Witched competition and The ghostly gala.
Outside of sso, Jose enjoys working out, being outside with her cat Misu, reading and playing. Her go to snack is triangle bread!
